Thanks for this reminder, it is so true. It's ok to follow the seasons and feel a little less motivated at the beginning of the winter... we can't be superhuman all year

I feel so cynical saying it, but my initial reaction to this idea is, "Absolutely this is how it should work--but it will never happen." I wish I had more faith in TPTB to be open to an idea as eminently sane as working with our bodies and the seasons, but alas... I keep seeing too much evidence that the opposite is true.

Oh BIG same here. I’m hopeful that there might be change, but I reckon it’ll take years before we even go a step in the right direction - just look at the reaction to working from home and the mere suggestion of a four-day week! Bleak times.

Yep. We asked for WFH for YEARS and were refused. The pandemic proved not only that it can be done, but done well, and we were praised for adapting so well...only to have the Folks In Charge declare it the worst thing ever once the pandemic was "over" and force us all back to the office. The entrenched nonsense (I'm especially fond of "our work is so collaborative that it can't be done from home" when WE JUST DID IT FOR 18 MONTHS!) is lodged in their minds along with a footstomping "I just want it the way I want it." I fear the changes, if they come, will take forever.
